FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING IN CAPITAL, DHAKA
Duration : Day Long
On this tour our guide will show you a little bit of this fast growing city. However, due to the lack of time and the traffic situation, it will be restricted to within the main city area. In the morning at 0800 hrs, pick up from your selected place. The trip will include visits to some well-known places like Sadarghat water front, Ahsan Manjil (Pink Palace),Star Mosque, Karjon Hall, Shahid Minar, Dhakeswari Temple, Lalbagh Fort, New Market, National Museum. If you wish, we can organize this trip with the help of a cycle rickshaw.
After completion of the morning session and a quick lunch in a Bangladeshi restaurant then visit of Parliament building and then our experienced guide will take you out of the city. You may go to either Savar, about 20 Km. north-west of Dhaka and the National Martyr’s Monument. This 50m high and beautifully kept structure was built as a memorial to the millions who died in the struggle for independence in 1971. Around 1700hrs we shall drop at your convenient place.

FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING IN DHAKA CITY AND ITS AROUND
Duration : Day Long
The trip will include visits to some well-known places like Sadarghat waterfront, Ahsan Manjil (Pink Palace), Karjan Hall, Shahid Minar, Dhakeswari Temple, Lalbagh Fort, If you wish, we can organize this trip with the help of a cycle rickshaw.





After completion of the morning session, and a quick lunch in a fast food restaurant, our experienced guide will take you out of the city to Sonargaon (means Golden City), 25 Km. to the east, which was the country’s first capital from the 13th to the early 17th century. In its prime, besides being the capital of the region, this was an important river port and centre for the manufacture and export of the famous muslin cloth, one of the main export items of Bengal in those days. Although, except for several mosques, a bridge, a few tombs & stupa, nothing remains of the original city. Still you will find much to see there. In addition, there is a well maintained Folk Art Museum worth visiting. Back to Dhaka in late afternoon.

EXCURSION TRIP TO MAINAMOTI & SONARGAON
Duration : Day Long
This trip will begin early in the morning around 08:00, when our guide will come and pick you up from nominated place with a reserved transport. Immediately you will drive to Comilla (114km) to explore Mainamoti, archaeological ruins dating back to 7th-12th century. The journey will take around two and half hours time. After arrival, you will have a cup of tea at the cafeteria of BARD (Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development). After that, the guide will take you out for sightseeing of this archeological site bearing old Buddhist civilization. Also you will visit the close by museum where they have preserved many excavated findings from this place.
Lunch will be offered at the cafeteria of BARD or a local restaurant. After lunch visit " War Cemetery", where you can see the graveyard of the soldiers who died in the Burma front during the Second World War. On way back, visit Sonargaon, the old capital of Bengal for sightseeing. During the 16th and 17th century, this was the capital of Bengal. You can also visit the folklore museum at Sonargaon.
Back to Dhaka in the evening around 18:00 hours.

FULL DAY RIVER CRUISE
Duration : Day Long
Full day River cruise will start from Dhaka and then transfer to Demra (about 15 km east of Dhaka) to board the boat. Board the boat and immediately the cruising on Shitalakhya river will begin and Tea / coffee with cakes or cookies will be served. After lunch the boat will turn back and cruising continues in the down stream. In the afternoon leave the boat at Demra to come back to the pick up point by our transport.



During the cruise, guests will enjoy the riverine beauty of Bangladesh from the boat, including visit to Murapara Zaminder's palace, and Jamdani village to see the weaving of the Jamdani fabric, very popular with our ladies. It is also possible for you to buy pieces of Jamdanee cloths here as a souvenir. In this cruise, if you wish, the boat will stop and you can go for a swim before lunch.

HALF DAY SIGHT SEEING AND RIVER CRUISE

This is an inclusive sightseeing and river-cruising program. This trip is best for those with limited time to extra The first part of this trip will be Half day Sightseeing, start from Dhaka at early in the morning, but a bit shorter. Following this, at around 12:30, you will arrive at Demra Ghat and board the boat.



Immediately the cruising on Shitalakhya River will begin and lunch served. Then we may visit the olld Zamindar’s palace. On the way back, tea/coffee with cakes will be served before stopping at Noapara village to show you the traditional and famous Jamdanee weaving. After that, we cruise back to Demra and drive from there to Dhaka. Arrive Dhaka late in the afternoon.

SEE THE SIGHTS OF POTTERY VILLAGE
Duration : Day Long
We will start early in the morning at around 08:00, pick you up from our usual pick-up points and immediately you will drive to Savar (around 35 km away from Dhaka). Upon arrival, you will visit the National Martyr’s Monument. After that, your guide will take you to a nearby place called Dhamrai.




Dhamrai is famous for brass artisans. The accompanied guide will take you to one of the places where you will see the artisans at work. After this you will go to have some snacks at the Joy Restaurant situated just in front of the monument, before going to the famous pottery village in Kakran. To reach this village you will have to leave the vehicle at Nayarhat and take a small ride by boat for about 20-30 minutes. Earlier, when there was common use of pots & utensils made from the clay, most of the people of this village used to be potters. Now you will see that only few families are still trying to hold this profession for their living. After spending some time in this village, you will come back to the vehicle, and drive back. You will be arriving in Dhaka at around 17:00.

HOME STAY AT VILLAGE
Duration : Day Long
We are offering this trip in order to introduce you to a village life in Bangladesh, where over 80% of the population resides. We have a few selected villages for this purpose. Depending upon your interest we shall select the village. The villages that we visit are all within a 1-1½ hour drive from Dhaka.
Day 01 : On the first day you will go to the village from Dhaka at around 08:00 by car/coach. By this trip you will get experience actual the slow and unhurried pace of rural life of a simple community that has not significantly changed its rhythm over the centuries (except for the inevitable intrusion of modern technology here and there). We shall not only help you to understand the village life but we shall also help you to communicate with the villagers in the evening. During the day, if you are contented to be an observer, you will watch, or if you prefer to get closer and more involved, you can participate in the normal activities of the villagers like agricultural work in the field, fishing, weaving or tending cattle etc. We shall arrange your accommodation in the house of your home-stay family. Obviously, it will be very simple. We shall however make sure that the basic necessities are provided for you.

Day 02 : In the following morning, you will continue to experience village life in your own way. The accompanying guide will be there to assist you in all respects. After lunch you will drive back to Dhaka.
